Members of the legendary Chicago avant-noise outfit ONO consider Black survival, persona/personification, invisibility, the vanishing humanity of Blackness, colorism, hairism, and erasure. We acknowledge the inadequacy of Eurocentric music definitions, and the sonic work of our forbearers. We are noise. We are Black Noise.
