Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Explore using voltage input as compositional material and as control signals that will facilitate concurrent performance and composition by listening to a flow of analog data and recognizing micro patterns embedded therein. We will explore shaping rhythm, pitch, timbre, and spatialization, working in rotating groups of 4 or 5 while others listen.

The goal is to compose in real time, building complex, polyphonic structures that are algorithmic on the micro level, leading to the workshop’s secondary outcome: developing new ways to listen and exploring language to describe the radical sounds we hear.

** If you successfully register for this workshop, it will be confirmed in your personalized schedule. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Those not in attendance 5 minutes before the session begins will forfeit their spot to those in line.

** If you were unable to successfully register for this workshop but were added to the waitlist and want to attend, it may still be possible if a space becomes available on the day of the session. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session and wait in the standby line. Open spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis to those in line.

** By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge that Moogfest may share your email address with the instructor for the purpose of planning and coordinating this event.
