The LGBTQ Center of Durham welcomes Moogfest artist Gavin Rayna Russom to join the local community groups "The Trans Experience Discussion Group" and "The Clearing" for an evening of discussion and LGBTQ empowerment.

TED (The Trans Experience Discussion Group) offers an informal space for trans-spectrum adults to connect with and share their experiences in an open, non-judgmental atmosphere. Meetings will open with discussion on a pre-selected topic and close with the opportunity for members to share other thoughts or questions with the group. Members must be at least 18 years of age and of trans-spectrum experience.
The Clearing is a community centering, celebrating, and caring for queer, trans, gender non-conforming, Black, Brown, and Indigenous lives and bodies, The Clearing is an anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, queer, feminist, womanist, loving spiritual space. All expressions of faith and non-faith are welcome as we engage in the spiritual alchemy of radical care and support in the midst of great struggle and violent injustice.
