Currently appointed as an Interactive Technology Research Assistant at NCSU Libraries, Panda is also a full-time Ph.D. student at NC State University's College of Design. Panda’s past work has ranged from projects dealing with virtual reality and education to machine learning and data visualization. As a researcher, Panda is currently working with Dr. Derek Ham on enabling learning through playful making in immersive environments. At the Libraries, Panda is currently working on realizing the potential of immersive technologies for use in creating, viewing, and understanding visualizations of information, data, and spaces.
